Blue Bird, Yellow Bird

I saw a blue bird stooped
by the roadside today,
while a yellow one was flapping away.
And I wondered, 
did the yellow bird leave
because the blue one was too blue,
Or did the blue bird not follow 
because the yellow one was too yellow?
